Evaluation

Everybody Wham Wham launched on January 29, 2021 as a complete story-driven adventure. Over the following year, the developer (Bonte Avond) shipped several patches including a Mac port (March 2021), a Halloween content update (October 2021), and a substantial story expansion called "Wham Wham's Redemption" on December 1, 2021, which added a new post-credits story. The developer's own words in that post described it as telling the story that "had to be told" — framing it as the natural conclusion to the game's narrative arc. A companion soundtrack DLC for the expansion followed on February 4, 2022, along with a Mac bug-fix patch on February 18, 2022. After that point, all developer communications shifted to their next title: "Once Upon a Jester," which launched in November 2022 and was posted about in the Everybody Wham Wham news feed. There have been no further updates, patches, or content announcements for Everybody Wham Wham since February 2022. Both DLCs (the original soundtrack and the Wham Wham's Redemption soundtrack) are released, and no unreleased DLC exists. The game's content appears to be complete, with the Wham Wham's Redemption expansion representing the final chapter of the story the developers wanted to tell.
