Evaluation

Explosive Odds launched on September 24, 2025 and received a healthy run of free content updates and cosmetic DLC. Major updates shipped at roughly monthly-to-quarterly intervals: The Spooky Update (October 19, 2025), Dealer's Choice (November 15, 2025), Another Round (April 18, 2026), and Decked Out (June 17, 2026). All three cosmetic DLC packs — Supporter Pack, Spooky Pack, and Holiday Pack — shipped between September and December 2025. On April 18, 2026, the developer stated that Another Round was "likely the last big update for the game" as they planned to shift focus to a new project. An influx of new players led them to walk that back slightly in late April, leading to the Decked Out customization update in June 2026. That update fulfilled the community costume contest commitment announced in May 2026. On August 14, 2026, the developer posted the V1.5.2 update — adding 9 new abilities sourced from a community idea contest — and made a clear developer statement about the game's future: they are "officially working on our next multiplayer project" and are shifting primary focus away from Explosive Odds. They explicitly told players to "expect less updates for EO and a little more silence on our end for a while." No specific future content for Explosive Odds was announced. All listed DLC has been released. The developer has not taken down servers and has committed to keeping the game playable, but has clearly communicated that active content development is winding down in favor of their next project. The August 14, 2026 post is the most recent developer communication, and it serves as a clear signal that the studio's attention has moved on. With no outstanding content commitments, no unreleased DLC, and an explicit developer statement about transitioning to a new project, the game's content is considered complete as of the Decked Out update on June 17, 2026 (the last substantive content release before the studio formally pivoted).
Evidence
Developer confirms they are 'officially working on our next multiplayer project' and explicitly tells players to expect fewer updates for Explosive Odds going forward, with no specific future EO content announced.

About this game

Be the last bot sitting in head to head matches with 2-4 players.

Experience tense PvP matches with 2, 3 or 4 players. Defuse a bomb with your friends and be the last bot sitting to win big! Use emotes, gestures, and in game voice comms to rub it in when their head explodes.

Clear wires to get cash, the richest player at the end of the 3 rounds wins!

The BombSlot device houses 3 wheels with 8 wires each. On your turn choose and cut one wire. Cutting a wire can earn you cash, abilities or, if your unlucky, detonate.

Use a variety of abilities to gain an edge over chance.

  • Scan - to narrow down which wires may be detonators.

  • Spin - each wheel to a new random position.

  • Skip - your turn, sometimes its best to let another player cut a suspicious looking wire.

  • Reverse - the turn order and send it right back to the previous bot.

  • Lock - to limit another players choice to just one wheel.

  • Overload - the bomb to make the next player cut an additional wire (Yes it stacks!).

  • Turn, Detect, Plant, Obscure, And more!

And more!

  • Auctions!

  • Minigames!

  • Face drawing!

  • Customizable match settings!

  • And more!
