Eyes of War launched its 1.0 release on January 31, 2025, after a development period that included substantial pre-launch work. Within days of launch, on February 7, 2025, Good Mood Games published a detailed community roadmap outlining a wide range of planned features and improvements — including an Age Advancement mechanic, a Survive Mode, siege unit additions, and numerous gameplay and visual enhancements. The developer has moved at a remarkable pace since launch. Major named updates include: the Age Advancement Update (February 21, 2025), Silveria's Shine Update (February 28, 2025), Echoes of War (March 14, 2025), the Siege Update (March 21, 2025), and the Survive Update (April 28, 2025) — which added a full Survival Arena mode, four new playable characters, reworked maps, and extensive balance changes. Additionally, an optimization patch shipped on April 20, 2026. That's 15 major content releases across the game's post-launch history, per the developer's own news feed. Several items from the February 2025 roadmap have been delivered (Age Advancement, Survive Mode, Siege Update with new siege units), while others — such as RTS/TPS mode transitions polish, combat feel enhancements, and various UI improvements — were described as ongoing. The developer closed the Survive Update announcement by stating "This is just the beginning… An even bigger update is on the horizon," signaling that content development was not considered complete as of April 2025. The most recent developer communication was the optimization patch on April 20, 2026.
