Evaluation
Ezaron Defense launched into Early Access on October 22, 2020, and officially released version 1.0 on April 15, 2021. Following launch, the developer shipped one additional major update — version 1.3 on June 15, 2021 — which added the remaining bonus/endless levels and fixed various bugs. In that same post, the developer explicitly stated: "We released the last major update for Ezaron Defense, version 1.3. Now, the game is fully completed." The developer noted they would continue addressing critical bugs if needed, but made clear that no further content updates were planned. The most recent developer communication (February 24, 2026) was an announcement for an entirely separate game — "Void Future: Hacking Protocol" — a cyberpunk hacking simulator with a demo live during Steam Next Fest, confirming the studio has moved on to new projects. With the developer's own "fully completed" declaration in June 2021 and no content activity since, Ezaron Defense is a finished product.

With over 50 upgrades and a mighty arsenal of magic spells, there is no end to the many strategies and choices available at your disposal!
