F1® 25

F1® 25 launched on May 30, 2025 as the official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. It operates as a live-service title with a rotating Podium Pass structure and optional in-game purchases of virtual currency. On November 18, 2025, the developer made a major franchise announcement: F1® 25 would cover both the 2025 and 2026 real-world seasons via a paid 2026 Season Pack expansion, with a new F1® 27 game planned for 2027. The game continued receiving seasonal content updates through late 2025, including Season 3 (September 17, 2025) and Season 4 (November 12, 2025), each bringing new Podium Pass tiers, driver roster updates, and gameplay features. The 2026 Season Pack shipped on June 3, 2026, adding the 2026 cars, two new constructor teams (Audi and Cadillac), the all-new MADRING circuit in Madrid, updated driver lineups, and new regulations-based gameplay mechanics. This was the major paid expansion the developer had announced in November 2025. Following the 2026 Season Pack launch, Codemasters continued patching the game: Patch v1.23 on June 29, 2026 added track changes and controller support, and Patch v1.24 on July 13, 2026 updated the Atlassian Williams 2026 car model — consistent with the note in the Season Pack announcement that "some final car models will release in a post-launch update." The most recent developer communication is dated July 16, 2026, when a sale on the 2026 Season Edition bundle was promoted. The game continues to be sold and actively patched. With its rotating seasonal content model, Podium Pass tiers, and in-game currency purchases, it is structured as an ongoing live-service title. While F1® 27 is confirmed for 2027, Codemasters has not announced an end date for F1® 25 support.
