Dakar 18 launched on September 25, 2018 and received a steady stream of patches and content updates through early 2019. Three DLC packs were released between January 31 and February 2, 2019 — the Desafío Ruta 40 Rally, the Desafío Inca Rally, and the Ari Vatanen / Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 pack — all of which are now released with no unreleased DLC remaining in the store. The final developer communication was Update v.13 on March 19, 2019, which added online rankings and a handful of bug fixes. There have been no developer posts, patches, announcements, or DLC releases since that date. The game shipped as a complete rally simulation, received its post-launch content and polish updates over roughly six months, and has been in a maintenance-free state since March 2019. No future content has been announced, and no roadmap or outstanding commitments are visible.
