Evaluation
DiRT Rally 2.0 launched on February 25, 2019 and received an extensive post-launch content program across four seasons, delivering dozens of cars, rally locations, and rallycross tracks throughout 2019 and into early 2020. A Game of the Year Edition bundling all content was announced in March 2020, with the final piece of DLC — the Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack — shipping on March 23, 2020.
The developer explicitly confirmed the game's content cycle was ending on two occasions. In the Version 1.16 patch notes published on September 27, 2020, Codemasters stated: "This is currently the final update planned for DiRT Rally 2.0." Then in the Version 1.17 patch notes on February 16, 2021 — a minor bug-fix patch — Codemasters confirmed: "This is currently the final scheduled update for DiRT Rally 2.0." No further updates or content have been released since that date.
All 44 DLC items listed on the store are marked as released, consistent with the completed content program. News posts since 2021 have been exclusively promotional material for successor titles (EA SPORTS WRC and EA SPORTS WRC 24), not announcements of new DiRT Rally 2.0 content.
The store description does note that the Clubs online game mode will be discontinued on July 8, 2026, due to the game's website being sunset. All other online functionality (Time Trial, My Team Career, Quick Play Multiplayer) will continue to operate. This is a service reduction, not new content, and does not change the completed development status of the game.

From July 8 2026, Clubs will no longer be available to play in DiRT Rally 2.0. This is due to the game's website, where Clubs are hosted, being sunset on that date. If you try to access Racenet Clubs in-game after this date, you will receive an error message and be unable to play that game mode. All other online functionalities within DiRT Rally 2.0, such as Time Trial, My Team Career and Quick Play Multiplayer, will continue to be playable. For further information on online service updates in EA games, please visit the service updates page on EA’s website (see below).
