RaceRoom Racing Experience

RaceRoom Racing Experience is a free-to-play racing simulation that has been continuously expanding since its 2013 launch. KW Studios operates the game as an ongoing live service, regularly adding new cars, tracks, and gameplay systems. The most recent major update shipped on August 4, 2026 — today — and is one of the largest in the game's recent history. It introduces four new GT3 cars (Ford Mustang GT3 Evo, Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, Lamborghini Temerario GT3, Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo), the full DTM 2026 Car Pack, an extensively updated Nürburgring Nordschleife, a refreshed Monza, major dedicated server optimizations, and the first iteration of a completely new in-game HUD built on a brand-new UI renderer. Critically, the developer's August 3, 2026 announcement post explicitly reveals that KW Studios is actively working on several of the largest technical projects in RaceRoom's history: a new backend for the RaceRoom service, a complete revamp of the game menus, and a brand-new rendering engine for the game client. These projects are described as not yet ready, confirming substantial ongoing development work beyond what shipped today. This follows the Q1 2026 update in March, which delivered a rebuilt Spa-Francorchamps, three new cars including a free addition, and two new Italian circuits. A May 2026 patch introduced a new championship structure in Ranked Multiplayer. Further feature patches and bug fixes have been issued regularly throughout 2026. The store description states: "RaceRoom continues to grow with new cars, new tracks, physics updates, competitive events, and improvements shaped with help from the sim racing community." The game's structure — weekly rotating free content, seasonal esports championships, and a monetized car and track store — is designed for indefinite ongoing growth rather than a defined completion point.
