F1® Manager 2022 is no longer available for purchase on Steam — there are no active purchase options for the game. This is consistent with how Frontier Developments has handled this franchise: each annual edition is eventually removed from sale as newer editions (F1® Manager 2023 and F1® Manager 2024) take its place.
The game launched on August 30, 2022 and received a series of patches through December 2022, with the final update (1.12) shipping on December 15, 2022. No content was added after that point — all post-launch developer activity consisted of gameplay balance adjustments and bug fixes. Frontier's developer news channel for this title shifted focus entirely to promoting the successor titles: F1® Manager 2023 was announced in May 2023 and launched July 31, 2023, and F1® Manager 2024 was announced in March 2024. A April 2025 sale post promoting F1® Manager 24 was the most recent communication posted to this game's news feed, confirming Frontier has moved on entirely.
The game shipped as a complete, licensed product tied to the 2022 Formula 1 season, with no DLC or expansion content ever listed or released. Development activity ended in December 2022, and the game has since been delisted from the storefront.
Evidence
Update 1.12 was the final patch for F1® Manager 2022, fixing a Safety Car overtaking bug and a Razer Chroma crash. No further updates were posted after this date.
