Fantasy of Expedition

Fantasy of Expedition launched into Early Access in early 2019 and graduated to its full 1.0 release on September 13, 2020. During and after Early Access, the developer (LW.C, formerly Milk Bottle Studio) maintained an active update cadence, shipping feature patches roughly every 2–5 months. Post-launch updates included new recruits, monsters, items, skills, game mechanics, and new modes. However, the most recent developer communication of any kind is the feature patch published on December 15, 2021 (Update 2.7.5). That post even concluded with a note that the team would "try to add more interesting stuff in the future," suggesting development was ongoing at that time — but no further updates have appeared since then. As of June 27, 2026, more than four years have passed with no news posts, patches, announcements, or developer communications of any kind. The developer's historical post-launch cadence was roughly every 2–5 months between major feature patches. Four-plus years of total silence vastly exceeds that pattern. There are no announced but unshipped DLC items listed on the store, no roadmap items outstanding that weren't eventually addressed by subsequent patches, and no developer statement promising future content after December 2021. The October 2020 roadmap post outlined a variety of planned additions, and subsequent updates through December 2021 delivered on most of those goals (new statuses, curses, recruits, items, events, and mechanics). The game appears to have reached a natural stopping point with the 2.7.5 update.
