Far Cry 2 launched on October 22, 2008, as a complete single-player and multiplayer experience. Post-launch, the developer released one feature patch (Hardcore Mode, announced February 9, 2009) and one DLC pack — the Fortunes Pack — which was made available on Steam by March 26, 2009. That March 26, 2009 post announcing the Fortunes Pack sale is the last developer communication on record, and it marks the point at which all known content had shipped. No future content was announced or teased beyond that point. The game has had no developer communications of any kind since March 2009, spanning over 17 years. This is a fully complete, finished product with no outstanding content commitments.
