Farnham Fables

Farnham Fables launched on Steam on June 20, 2016 as an episodic point-and-click adventure series. Two DLC episodes followed: Episode 2 on August 31, 2016, and Episode 3 on December 19, 2017. In a July 2016 post, the developer referenced plans extending at least through Episode 8, indicating the series was intended to continue well beyond the three episodes that have shipped. However, the developer's last communication of any kind was the Episode 3 launch post on December 19, 2017. No further episodes, announcements, or updates of any kind have appeared since then. That's more than eight years of silence with no explanation — no statement that the series was cancelled, no health update, no new publisher, nothing. The store listing still shows only three episodes (the base game plus two DLC), leaving the originally described multi-episode arc unfinished by the developer's own stated plans. Given the long-promised but never-delivered continuation and the complete absence of developer communication since December 19, 2017, it is unclear whether additional episodes are still being developed, have been quietly abandoned, or whether the studio is still active at all.
