Fast Food Simulator

Fast Food Simulator launched into Early Access on December 10, 2024, and built a strong post-launch development record. The studio, No Ceiling Games, shipped four major updates in its first six months: v0.2.0 on December 14, 2024; v0.3.0 on February 21, 2025; v0.4.0 on April 30, 2025; and v0.5.0 on June 5, 2025. These delivered AI workers, restaurant customization, soda machine mechanics, a trash system, and numerous quality-of-life improvements, typically arriving every 1–3 months. On September 23, 2025, the developer published a detailed status update addressing a period of silence, confirming the game was never abandoned. That post announced a significant upcoming update: a full engine migration from Unreal Engine 5.3 to 5.5, complete controller support, a switch to Epic Online Services for multiplayer (described as necessary for future cross-play plans), and a new mini open world with order delivery mechanics. A minor bug fix patch (v0.5.2) followed on October 9, 2025 — the last developer communication of any kind. As of September 24, 2026, no further updates, posts, or statements have appeared since October 9, 2025 — nearly 12 months of silence. The announced major update has not shipped. This silence is far outside the developer's previously established rhythm of updates every 1–3 months, and there has been no explanation for the delay. Given that the developer had already addressed one period of silence in September 2025 and promised screenshots and previews of the upcoming update "soon," the continued absence of any communication since October 2025 raises genuine uncertainty about whether development is continuing as planned.
