Fear Effect Sedna launched on March 6, 2018. Prior to launch, on January 31, 2018, developer Sushee explicitly stated that "development is completely finished." The game shipped with one DLC — a Collector's Upgrade released the same day as the game (March 6, 2018) — which has been released. Following launch, Sushee issued a feature patch on August 16, 2018 that added AI improvements, a Fog of War toggle, and a new Mercenaries info menu. That August 2018 patch is the last recorded developer communication. There have been no announcements of future DLC, expansions, or additional content. With all DLC shipped, no unreleased content on the store, and no post-launch content cadence beyond a single maintenance/feature patch, the game appears to have launched as a complete product and received only minor post-launch polish.
