Evaluation
Festival Tycoon launched into 1.0 on May 4, 2022, after a period of active Early Access development. Following launch, the developer shipped one paid charity DLC ("Water for All!" on November 22, 2022) and one free major content update themed around Ancient Greece (December 22, 2022), which added new stage styles, decorations, buildings, map biomes, and gameplay mechanics. At the end of the November 2022 DLC post, the developer mentioned being "also working on a new cool free update" — this teaser was almost certainly referring to the Greece update that followed just a month later in December 2022. Both DLC entries in the store listing are marked as released. No further developer posts, updates, patches, or announcements have appeared since December 22, 2022. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap pointing to future content, and no developer statement indicating ongoing or planned development. The pattern of updates effectively concluded with the December 2022 content drop, and over three years have now passed since any official communication.
Evidence
Developer shipped the Greece content update — the last major release — adding new stage styles, decorations, buildings, a Mediterranean map biome, and gameplay mechanics. This is the final developer communication on record.
Charity DLC 'Water for All!' released, with all profits going to Viva con Agua. Developer mentioned working on 'a new cool free update' — this was fulfilled by the Greece update released one month later.
