Fidget Spinner launched on September 6, 2017 as a small casual game featuring 30 unlockable spinners, speed upgrades, and easter eggs. Shortly after launch, on September 10, 2017, three new spinners were added. The most recent update came on May 11, 2020, when the developer added the "Coffin Dancer Spinner" as a fun nod to the viral pandemic meme. That post also included a note of gratitude to the community, reading as a fond farewell to the project. There have been no developer communications of any kind since May 11, 2020 — over six years ago. The game has no unreleased DLC, no announced future content, and no active update pattern. It launched as a simple, self-contained product and has received no meaningful development activity in years. The game is complete.
