Final Quest launched on August 17, 2016 as a complete, self-contained RPG. The developer shipped one post-launch patch on September 2, 2016 (version S.1.3) that addressed bugs and added minor quality-of-life features such as location name displays and a new menu system. After that, the developer's attention shifted to a separate project — a different RPG called Sol Ni Koro, which was announced via Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight in an April 11, 2017 post on the Final Quest news page. There have been no further updates, announcements, or communications about Final Quest since April 2017. No DLC was ever listed, no roadmap was published, and no future content for the game was promised. The store description presents Final Quest as a complete, finished product with a self-contained story. The game launched as a finished product and has received no post-launch content beyond early bug fixes.
