Fox Hime launched on November 2, 2017 as a complete visual novel. It received one DLC — a Cosplay Album released on March 1, 2018 — which is the only paid add-on ever listed for the game. No additional DLC has been announced or listed since then. Developer communication since launch has been limited to maintenance: bug fixes and minor feature patches, the most recent of which was a subtitle addition on July 15, 2024. There have been no major content releases, no roadmaps, and no announcements of future content. Early 2018 posts mentioned the developer was working on a new game (Fox Hime Zero), which confirmed their post-launch focus had shifted away from this title. The game launched as a self-contained story with a defined cast and narrative, and the developer has never communicated any plans for additional story content or expansions. All released DLC is shipped, and the game's content has been stable for years. Fox Hime is a complete product.
