Evaluation
NOeSIS01 is a free-to-play horror visual novel that originally released on March 19, 2020. The game has seen continued active development from its community and developer.
The most significant recent update arrived on February 18, 2026, when the developer released a major HD remaster built on the Ren'Py engine (replacing the original ONScripter engine). This remaster added 1080p support, Steam achievements, expanded save slots, improved settings, and a refined script. The update changelog explicitly listed a DLC system as "coming soon," indicating that additional content is actively planned.
On August 8, 2026 — just one day before today's assessment date — the developer posted again, confirming that native PC versions of NOeSIS01 and NOeSIS02 remasters are currently being adapted (eliminating the need for Android emulators), and that future online cloud play is also planned. This is a very recent, active developer communication confirming ongoing work on the game.
The game remains available for free on Steam and continues to receive developer attention, with additional content and platform enhancements still in progress.
