Evaluation
NOeSIS02_羽化 launched on November 8, 2021 as the completed second entry in the NOeSIS series. The developer has remained actively engaged since launch. A major HD remaster update shipped on February 18, 2026, rebuilding the game on a new engine (Ren'Py, replacing the older ONScripter engine) and adding Steam achievements, 1080p resolution support, improved music player, expanded save slots, and various quality-of-life improvements. Notably, that same update's changelog explicitly listed a DLC system as coming soon.
The developer's most recent communication, on August 8, 2026, announced that native PC versions of both NOeSIS01 and NOeSIS02 are currently being adapted — eliminating the need for Android emulators — and that cloud-based online play is also planned. This confirms ongoing development work on the game as recently as August 2026. The promised DLC system and the native PC adaptation remain outstanding. No completion announcement has been made.
