Evaluation

Finding Paradise is the second standalone entry in Freebird Games' "To the Moon" series, originally released on December 14, 2017. All DLC — the official soundtrack (December 19, 2017) and the comic series collection (March 8, 2019) — has shipped. On October 8, 2025, in partnership with publisher Serenity Forge, the game received a substantial remaster update (16:9 aspect ratio, 60FPS, and other modernizations) and launched for the first time on consoles (Xbox and PlayStation). Steam owners received this update for free. This represents the most recent meaningful update to the game's content. The October 2025 post closes with two forward-looking notes: a pointer to the next game in the series ("The Last Hour of an Epic TO THE MOON RPG") and a mention of "physical merchandise, and more things in the coming future" from the Serenity Forge partnership. However, these references are about the broader series and ancillary merchandise — not announced additional content for Finding Paradise itself. The game is a self-contained narrative experience, and the remaster represents a polished, complete package of what was always intended to be delivered. No unreleased DLC is listed on the store, no roadmap for additional Finding Paradise content has been announced, and the developer has not indicated that any further updates to this specific title are planned. The game launched as a finished narrative product in 2017 and now exists in a definitive remastered form as of October 2025.
Evidence
Finding Paradise received a free 16:9 remaster update on Steam (60FPS, widescreen support) and launched on Xbox and PlayStation for the first time, in partnership with Serenity Forge. This is the most recent developer communication and represents the game's definitive updated form.

About this game

Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts have peculiar jobs: They give people another chance to live, all the way from the very beginning... but only in their patients' heads.

Due to the severity of the operation, the new life becomes the last thing the patients remember before drawing their last breath. Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives, but didn’t.

Finding Paradise is the standalone 2nd full episode of To the Moon's series. It follows the life of the doctors' new patient, Colin, as they attempt to unravel a life that is split down the middle, and fulfill a wish that appears to be self-contradictory by nature.

*Like To the Moon, this is a standalone full game that does not require having played any previous games in the series.
