Evaluation
Fingerbang: All Bullets Pointin' is a free-to-play boomer-style FPS that launched on December 8, 2022 as a student project. The developer acknowledged at launch that it started as a 9-week student project, but committed to ongoing updates and described it as evolving beyond its original scope.
Following release, the team patched the game twice in December 2022 and then published a development update on February 13, 2023 outlining concrete plans for spring 2023: new levels (described as "several in the works"), a rework of the existing Red District level, Steam leaderboards, and achievements. A feature patch (v0.1.2) shipped on February 16, 2023 delivering the Red District rework as promised.
However, that February 16, 2023 patch is the last communication of any kind from the developer. The new levels, leaderboards, and achievements announced in the February 13 post have never been confirmed as released, and there have been no further updates, patch notes, or developer posts since then — a period of silence stretching past June 2026. The store description still references that "the current release version will continue to receive updates for the foreseeable future," but this has not been acted upon for over three years.
Given that the developer made explicit promises for new content that were never followed up on, and then went completely silent, the status of those promised additions — and of the project as a whole — is uncertain.
Evidence
Update 0.1.2 ships the Red District rework promised in the roadmap. This is the last developer communication on record.
Developer announces spring 2023 roadmap including new levels, Steam leaderboards, and achievements, and confirms ongoing development beyond the initial release.

Special thanks to Janne Mustakallio and Eerik Annola for producing the original music in this game.
*This game is a student project originally created in a period of 9 weeks, this version of the game being available as the demo version. Current release version has already surpassed the original release and will continue to receive updates for the foreseeable future.
