Evaluation

Fingerdance launched on Steam on June 20, 2025 as a complete, finished product — a compact finger-dexterity game with no announced DLC, expansion plans, or roadmap for future content. Since launch, the developer has been actively maintaining the game with a series of patches through December 20, 2025, adding quality-of-life improvements (window resizing, key binding flexibility), new content in smaller updates (v0.4.2, v0.5.1), and an EXTRA mode unlocked by high performance (v0.5.0). The most recent update, published December 20, 2025, added Chinese language support. However, none of these post-launch patches represent a sustained major content release cycle, and the developer has made no announcements of planned future content, expansions, or ongoing development commitments. The game appears to have shipped as a self-contained experience and has received ongoing polish and refinement rather than a planned content pipeline.

About this game

Fingerdance is a finger-twister that tests your dexterity.

Place five fingers of any hand comfortably on your keyboard. You have to press and release each finger according to the given patterns. It’s a bit like a rhythm game—but there’s no need to match the beats precisely. Take your time!

The faster you complete each pattern, the higher your rank will be. Try getting an S-rank on every stage!
