Firebird - La Péri launched on August 19, 2016 as the first installment of InnerspaceVR's "Firebird Series" — described at launch as a planned multi-part musical VR series. The game received platform and feature updates through late 2016 and 2017 (Oculus Touch support, a standing/desk mode, and Microsoft Mixed Reality headset compatibility).
In March 2018, the developer announced a second episode called "THE UNFINISHED," which released on April 27, 2018. This was the last major developer communication and the final content addition to the Firebird Series on Steam.
