Fist Puncher launched on June 21, 2013 as a complete sidescrolling beat-em-up. After launch, Team2Bit shipped a handful of free content updates: two new characters in September 2013, Mac and Linux support plus two more characters in May 2014, and finally three new Halloween-themed playable characters on October 24, 2016. That Halloween update is the last developer communication of any kind — nearly a decade ago. The one paid DLC (the Robot Unicorn character pack) has been released. No further content has been announced, no roadmap exists, and the developer has made no statements about ongoing development. The game appears to have launched as a feature-complete product that received a few post-launch additions before development concluded with the 2016 Halloween update.
