FLASHOUT 3D: Enhanced Edition

FLASHOUT 3D: Enhanced Edition is a free remastered release of the original FLASHOUT 3D, launched on September 2, 2022, primarily as a promotional vehicle for the then-upcoming FLASHOUT 3. Post-launch updates were minimal: Steam Achievements were added on September 21, 2022, and that represented the extent of feature additions. In February 2026, Salient Games — the new owner of the FLASHOUT franchise, having acquired the IP from Jujubee — announced themselves and simultaneously released the game's original soundtrack as a DLC on February 5, 2026. That DLC is the only one associated with this title and it has shipped. In the same announcement (February 7, 2026), Salient Games stated they are currently focused on other projects and are not ready to announce FLASHOUT 4, but did not indicate any plans to add further content to this specific game. The store description positions this title as a free legacy release to celebrate the franchise. With the soundtrack DLC now shipped and no further content announced or implied for this game specifically, it appears complete as a package.
