Flick Shot Rogues launched on Steam on September 17, 2025. The developer (Butter By The Fish) followed launch with a development update on November 19, 2025 announcing plans for a version 1.1 content update, which was delivered on December 10, 2025 as "The Cursed Crew Update." This substantial free update added cursed hero variants for all characters, a reworked difficulty system, an enemy bestiary, new trinkets, new maps, and more. Bug fix and feature patches continued after that, with a patch on February 18, 2026. Most recently, on August 14, 2026, the developer announced that Flick Shot Rogues is coming to iOS and Android — a sign of continued active investment in the game by both the developer and publisher Noodlecake.
