Fog of War: Book One is a complete, standalone visual novel that launched on June 9, 2024. The developer has explicitly designed it as the first of a three-book series, and Book One itself is a finished product — it shipped with 7,300 renders, 89 music tracks, cinematics, and a full narrative arc. There are no announced patches, additions, or DLC planned for Book One itself.
All ongoing development activity is focused on Book Two, which exists as a separate Steam application (App ID 3928550) with its own store page. Book Two released into Early Access on August 7, 2026. The developer's communications throughout 2025 and into 2026 are entirely about Book Two's production and release, not about adding content to Book One.
