For the Queen

For the Queen launched on August 23, 2023 and received two DLC releases: a Digital Album + Artbook on August 24, 2023, and a story expansion — "Adventures of a Village Girl" — on January 19, 2024. Both DLC entries are fully released, and no unreleased DLC is listed on the store. On December 11, 2024, Studio Ginkgo announced that a sequel to For the Queen is in development. This sequel is a separate product — a new game that continues the story from one of the base game's endings. A sequel being in development does not mean additional content is coming to the base game itself; it is a distinct title. No additional DLC, updates, or content additions for the base game have been announced. The studio has continued light maintenance on the base game, with a bug fix patch on April 16, 2025 and a security hotfix on October 3, 2025, confirming the studio remains active. However, maintenance patches alone do not indicate new content is planned for this game. With both DLC entries shipped, no unreleased content listed for the base game, and no developer statement promising further additions to For the Queen itself, the base game is content-complete as of the January 19, 2024 story DLC release.
