Forbidden Fantasy

Forbidden Fantasy launched on November 19, 2024 as a self-described "Complete Game" — a finished adult visual novel with 2–4 hours of content, 6 sex scenes, and a full narrative. The base game itself is complete. The developer has been working toward a sequel since shortly after launch. That sequel went through several name changes (Forbidden Fantasy: Bloodlines → Forbidden Fantasy: Temptation → Forbidden Fantasy 2) and a turbulent development period. In March 2026, OppaiMan reported that the Forbidden Fantasy team had been redirected to work on FreshWomen Season 3 and two other complete games, leaving the sequel's future uncertain. However, on August 31, 2026 — the most recent developer communication — OppaiMan announced that Forbidden Fantasy 2 is back in active development now that FreshWomen Season 3's development is reaching its conclusion. The post describes ongoing community engagement (character polls, story planning) and names the returning characters (Arlian, Zhara, Demon Queen) plus new ones. This resolves the uncertainty flagged in the previous assessment: the developer has confirmed the sequel is resuming. The March 2026 concern about the team being diverted has been superseded by this August 2026 confirmation that development is restarting. The base game remains complete as a standalone product, but the developer's ongoing commitment to the franchise — and the announced sequel that builds on it — means content in this universe is still planned.
