FORWARD: Escape the Fold launched on March 29, 2022 and received several updates over the following months, adding new items, challenges, and balancing improvements. On October 19, 2022, the developer released Update 1.2.0, which was explicitly branded as the "Ultimate Edition" — bringing a new character, 14 new items, 3 new challenges, and additional secrets. In that same post, the developer stated clearly: "This update signals the ultimate version of the game - meaning, I believe I have built the game I wanted to make and will be creating very little new content from this point onwards. I will happily fix the game if needed but will be focusing my attention on my next game." This is a direct developer statement that content development is complete. The game's title on Steam — "FORWARD: Escape the Fold - Ultimate Edition" — reflects this definitive packaging of all content. Subsequent developer activity has confirmed this direction: a mobile port launched in February 2023, a new game (Pyrene) was announced in July 2023, and in October 2025 another new title (BEKI, Do You Copy?) was announced. None of these posts indicated any intention to return to FORWARD with new content. The developer has fully moved on to new projects.

He is the solo-developer of FORWARD: Escape the Fold and has previously worked on various small mobile games with the aim of developing his game design skills.
