Hadean Tactics left Early Access and fully launched on August 24, 2023. Since then, Emberfish Games has maintained a sustained pattern of updates. The game's biggest content drop came on April 29, 2026: the Moonhunter DLC (a paid fourth Hero — Selene — with 60+ new cards, new mechanics, units, relics, alliances, and a new boss) alongside the free 2.0 Update introducing the Eternal Rift wave-based game mode. The Daily Rift feature followed on May 9, 2026. As recently as September 10, 2026 — just one week before today's assessment — the developers shipped Patch 2.1.23, which added new map drawing tools, a Cataclysm status indicator, expanded controller support, and numerous balance adjustments and bug fixes. The developers have explicitly stated they will "continue to improve the game with bug fixes and balance adjustments." No future paid content has been announced, but the team remains actively engaged in post-launch development with a clear pattern of ongoing updates across the full timeline.
