Foundation launched out of Early Access on January 31, 2025. Since then, Polymorph Games has been actively developing and communicating about the game's future.
The first major paid DLC, Foundation: Harvest Festival, was announced on April 9, 2026 and is listed as unreleased on the Steam store. On September 14, 2026, Polymorph confirmed it launches on October 8, 2026 — two days from today. A gameplay trailer was published on October 6, 2026 showcasing the new crops, livestock, production chains, and festival mechanics arriving with the DLC.
Beyond Harvest Festival, a February 12, 2026 devlog confirmed that a second DLC project is also currently in development, though no details have been shared yet.
The studio has remained consistently communicative and active throughout 2026, with devlogs, trailers, and patch updates across the year. The game is clearly in an ongoing content expansion phase with at least two paid DLC projects in the pipeline.
