Free Will launched on May 7, 2024 as a complete psychological puzzle RPG. In the launch announcement, the developer (Kipps In A Box) explicitly stated that paid DLC expanding the game with additional endings and content was in the works. Since launch, the team has remained active — shipping Streamer Mode in May 2024, Chinese localization in August 2024, Japanese localization in February 2025, a security patch in October 2025, and Spanish localization in December 2025. However, none of these updates addressed the promised paid DLC, and no post since the original May 7, 2024 announcement has mentioned it. The most recent developer post, from July 26, 2026, thanks players for over two years of support and promotes a Buy Me a Coffee page for "future projects" — with no reference to any outstanding DLC plans for Free Will. The promised paid DLC — additional endings and expanded content — remains undelivered and has gone completely unaddressed for over two years.
