Fruit Ninja VR launched on December 15, 2016 and received a series of updates in its early life: feature patches adding new fruit mechanics and graphics options (July 2016), a new Survival Mode (August 2016), a Halloween tournament event (October 2016), a Christmas seasonal event with new blades (December 2016), and then one final feature patch in September 2020 addressing bug fixes and blade refinements. That September 2, 2020 update is the last recorded developer communication of any kind. No updates, announcements, roadmaps, or developer posts have appeared since then — a span running through June 2026. There are no unreleased DLC items listed on the store, no announced future content, and no developer statements indicating ongoing development.
