Funi Raccoon Game launched on March 13, 2026, and quickly became a major success for indie developer Crayon. Following launch, the team shipped a series of patches and one major free content update — "The Brazil Update" on March 19, 2026 — adding a new post-game level. The game also expanded to macOS in May 2026. On August 21, 2026, Crayon published a post explicitly titled "Final Update Out Now + The Future," confirming this is the last content update for the game. The update adds four new vehicles, a revamped level, new secrets, and various bug fixes. The developer states they are "leaving the game in a complete and stable state." There are no further content additions planned for the Steam version. The only announced next steps are a Nintendo Switch port (carrying the same final content) and an entirely separate sequel game — neither of which represents new content for this version. The game's content is now complete.
