Furi Demake - The Chain launched on November 30, 2023 as a free, single-boss-fight game — explicitly described as a love letter to the Furi community and a collaboration with solo developer Sylph. The store page is upfront that this is a one-boss experience (10–30 minutes of gameplay).
On May 7, 2025, the developer published a notable update explaining they were converting the game from free to paid (effective June 23, 2025) to improve visibility through Steam events and discounts. In that same post, they mentioned dreaming about adding more bosses and asked the community which boss they'd like to see next — suggesting future bosses are something they are considering but have not formally committed to.
However, The Game Bakers' main development effort is clearly focused on Cairn, a full mountain-climbing adventure game that was announced in June 2024 and received a demo in December 2024. There has been no further communication about additional Furi Demake content since May 7, 2025 — over 13 months ago as of today. The developer's language around more bosses ("as we dream about it") is aspirational rather than a firm commitment, making the prospect of additional content uncertain.

Be agile and quick, jump, shoot, dash, parry and slash. The simple controls will test your nerves: stay calm and focus to evade the blows and counter-attack at the right time!
