GabeN: The Final Decision

GabeN: The Final Decision is a casual RPG released on September 21, 2015. The developer communicated clearly in a December 28, 2015 post that the upcoming major update would "probably be the last update," citing the game's short development cycle (made in two weeks) and plans to move on to other projects. That major update was then delivered in two parts — Part 1 on January 25, 2016 (adding new enemies, bosses, sprite replacements, and achievements) and Part 2 on January 31, 2016 (resolving a broken achievement issue, with those achievements permanently removed). The January 31, 2016 post confirmed the broken achievements "will never be added back." No developer communications have appeared since January 31, 2016, consistent with the developer's stated intent to stop updating this game. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained experience and the developer explicitly wrapped up support over a decade ago.
