Galactic Vault

Galactic Vault launched on March 10, 2026, and MeepMeep Games has maintained a rapid and consistent cadence of major free content updates ever since. Four major updates have shipped post-launch: Update v1.1.0 on April 8, 2026 (five playable characters, new rooms, difficulty overhaul); Update 1.2.0 on April 30, 2026 (grenade types, weapon prestige system, new enemies and movement abilities); the Infestation Update on June 22, 2026 (infected rooms, new boss, new weapon and infection element); and The Endless Update on August 19, 2026 (endless mode with leaderboards, meta-progression charm system, four new difficulty modifiers, and four new language localizations). A follow-up patch was posted on August 21, 2026, just two days after the Endless Update, continuing active maintenance. The developer has not announced specific future content since the Endless Update shipped, but they have also made no statement indicating development is winding down. At launch in March 2026, they explicitly stated "we are just getting started" and published a post-launch roadmap. Given the very short gaps between all four major updates — none longer than about eight weeks — and the lack of any developer communication suggesting a conclusion, this game is clearly in an active update cycle. The most recent major content arrived on August 19, 2026, just three days before today's assessment date.
