Game of Evolution - Season 1 entered Steam Early Access on August 7, 2023. The only developer communication on record is a patch post from September 23, 2023 (version 0.06c), which added a gallery feature, Linux support, and approximately 5,000 words of new story content. In that same post, the developer explicitly stated that the game's price would increase as content is refined "until the game is officially released," confirming that a full 1.0 launch is the intended goal and that more content is planned.
However, the developer also acknowledged having limited manpower and being unable to post frequent community updates. Since that September 23, 2023 post, there have been no further communications of any kind — a silence spanning well over two years through June 2026. While the developer's intent to complete the game was clear at that time, the prolonged absence of any updates or progress reports means it is currently impossible to confirm whether development is still actively continuing toward that goal.
