Gaming Cafe Life launched on Steam on April 18, 2024, graduating from Early Access to its 1.0 release on July 13, 2024. Two days later, on July 15, 2024, the developer shipped the Special Arcade DLC — the only paid DLC listed for the game, and it is already released. No unreleased DLC exists on the store.
During the Early Access period, the developer was highly active, shipping substantial updates roughly every two weeks (v1.3 on May 16, v1.4 on May 30, v1.5 on June 13, v1.6 on June 28, and v1.7 alongside the 1.0 launch on July 13). After the 1.0 launch and the Arcade DLC on July 15, 2024, the developer's communications shifted entirely toward a new project — Laundry Store Simulator — with announcements on August 20 and October 4, 2024.
