Laundry Store Simulator launched on December 9, 2024 and has received a consistent stream of substantial content updates ever since. Six major updates shipped between launch and March 2026: Version 2.0 (December 18, 2024), Version 4.0 (January 26, 2025), Version 5.0 (March 22, 2025), a Major Update (May 18, 2025), an Anniversary Update (December 12, 2025), and Version 7.1 (March 26, 2026). Each of these added new gameplay systems, services, story quests, and items — not just bug fixes. The gaps between major releases have ranged from roughly 1–6 months, with the most recent arriving on March 26, 2026, less than 3 months ago. In the December 2025 Anniversary Update post, the developer explicitly stated: "This is not the last update for Laundry Store Simulator. We're cooking up new stuffs for the future." The developer also posted a July 2025 patch note announcing a new game (Comic Book Store Simulator) in development, but this does not signal the end of Laundry Store Simulator support — bug fix patches continued through March 31, 2026, and no "final update" announcement has been made.
