Gatekeeper launched its 1.0 release on August 1, 2025, and received one paid DLC — Crustad — on February 19, 2026, which added a new planet, a new playable character, new game modes, and 11 new artifacts. On April 2, 2026, Gravity Lagoon published a direct statement confirming the game has reached its "final, completed form" and that no further major content updates are planned. The developer noted that ongoing support in the form of balance patches and bug fixes will continue as needed — and indeed, a balance patch was released on May 11, 2026. The studio has also announced it is now working on an entirely new project. Both DLC entries in the store are released, and no further content has been announced or listed. The game is content-complete.
