SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising launched on March 15, 2018 and received a strong post-launch content run from Flow Fire Games. The first major free expansion — Legion Rising — shipped on October 3, 2018, adding 8 new class specializations, enemies, weapons, and items. A substantial feature patch (Update 25 - INTEL) followed in March 2020, and the final major update — the SYNTHETIK Ultimate Edition — arrived on December 16, 2020, adding a new final boss room, story elements, rare enemy squads, the Alchemy Shop with 12 new synergy items, weapon modding, and a console launch on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The Ultimate Edition was framed as the definitive content package for this game. In April 2021, the developer announced SYNTHETIK 2 as the successor, with development resources shifting to that project. The last news post for this game (SYNTHETIK 1) was in September 2021, and it referenced only SYNTHETIK 2 — there have been no posts about further content for this game since. The sole DLC, the Supporter Pack, was released on October 3, 2018 and no additional DLC has been listed. With the Ultimate Edition serving as the capstone update, the developer's focus having moved fully to SYNTHETIK 2, and no content commitments remaining, this game is complete. The content became final with the Ultimate Edition on December 16, 2020.
