Evaluation
NeuroVoider launched on August 31, 2016 and received active post-launch support throughout its first year. The developer shipped two notable major content milestones: the game's extensive weekly update streak through 2016, and then the "Extended Update" (v55) on March 9, 2017, which added new weapon types, environments, skills, boss variations, and achievements. Following that, a compatibility/optimization patch (v56.2) landed in August 2017, and a Japanese localization update (v57) shipped in November 2017.
In March 2019, the developer announced they were shifting focus to a new game, ScourgeBringer, while explicitly stating they would continue maintaining NeuroVoider as needed. Then, on April 22–23, 2026, the studio returned with a maintenance patch (v57.15) that updated the engine, added native Steam Deck support, broader gamepad compatibility, and Apple Silicon support — accompanied by an announcement of yet another new game, Knuckle Paradise.
The April 2026 patch is explicitly described as a maintenance and future-proofing update, not a content addition. The developer's communications across the full timeline show that new gameplay content effectively concluded with the Extended Update in March 2017. No future content for NeuroVoider has been announced, no unreleased DLC exists, and the studio's focus has moved on to new projects. The single DLC listed (the Deluxe Upgrade) has been released since launch day. The game shipped as a complete product that received one major post-launch content expansion, and that content cycle has long since concluded.
Evidence
Developer released v57.15, a maintenance patch for engine updates, Steam Deck support, and Apple Silicon compatibility. Simultaneously announced a brand new game (Knuckle Paradise). No new gameplay content for NeuroVoider was mentioned.
Extended Update (v55) shipped, adding new glitched weapon category, 15 new weapons, 2 new environments, 4 new skills, new boss variations, and new achievements — the last major content addition to the game.
