Evaluation

Gauntlet of IRE launched on December 15, 2017 as a 35-level obstacle course game. In its first year, the developer was fairly active: releasing an Android port in January 2018, shipping several patches adding new levels, achievements, and game secrets through mid-2018, and adding a slow mode and other quality-of-life improvements. On July 13, 2018, the developer candidly posted that the game was "dead" and announced it would be made free to play. This was the clearest signal that active development was winding down. The last developer communication on this game's Steam page was on October 23, 2020, when the developer posted a minor bug fix (Twitch integration and a broken level fix) alongside an announcement for their new unrelated game, Fibby.io. That post also removed a level due to an engine bug rather than adding content — a maintenance action rather than a content push. No further posts have appeared since October 23, 2020, and the developer has made no announcements of future content for Gauntlet of IRE. There are no unreleased DLC listings. The game is a self-contained, finite obstacle course (35 levels) that was explicitly described as complete by its own developer back in July 2018. The store description describes it as a finished 35-part course with no mention of ongoing updates. KillerPokeGames has since moved on to other projects. The game is complete as shipped.
Evidence
Last developer post: minor bug fixes to Twitch integration and a level removal, accompanied by an announcement for a separate new game (Fibby.io). No new content added, no future Gauntlet of IRE content mentioned.

About this game

A 35 part obstacle course that is deceptively simple and infuriatingly obvious in the most difficult way. Your memory, reaction time, hand eye coordination, and critical thinking will all be challenged. You will die hundreds of times before beating this game, because you will fail.
The game is the same, but each level provides a new challenge to never let you plateau.
Each goal is the same, make it to the other side using only your wit and skill.
How you reach it depends entirely on you.

TWITCH INTEGRATION

The new Twitch Integration lets your viewers become part of the game by raining bits, followers, and subscribers.
