Evaluation
Genital Jousting launched into full release on January 18, 2018, graduating from Early Access with a major new single-player Story Mode added at launch. The game had a healthy content development history during its Early Access period, shipping multiple major updates: the Big Throbbing Update (December 26, 2016), the Date Night Update (February 13, 2017), and the Wet Hot Summer Update (May 30, 2017), each adding new game modes, outfits, and multiplayer features. The 1.0 launch on January 18, 2018 brought the fully narrated Story Mode, representing the culmination of development. A final post-launch patch on May 18, 2018 added Mac support, achievements, subtitles, and gameplay polish. There have been no developer communications of any kind since May 18, 2018 — over eight years of silence — and no DLC or additional content has been announced or listed. The game appears to have launched as a complete product and received one final polish patch, after which the developer moved on. No further content is expected.
