Genius Greedy Mouse launched on August 12, 2016 and received one DLC, "Greedy of XOR," on November 21, 2016. The game has had a handful of updates over the years — mostly quality-of-life improvements, feature patches, and bug fixes — but no major new content since February 2019, when the maze and puzzle sections were split into separate game modes.
The most telling signal comes from a December 18, 2018 developer post, in which Space Fractal stated: "This is my last update until I get my ownership for my game back again (except if found other important bugs)." While this implied a potential return, the developer's subsequent activity has been limited purely to maintenance: a Steam Deck compatibility update in October 2022 and a minor bug fix in December 2022. No new content, DLC, or announcements have followed since then, and no further updates have been posted after December 2022.
The sole DLC is released and there are no unreleased DLC entries on the store. The developer has not announced any future content, expansions, or roadmaps. The last developer communication of any kind was on December 11, 2022. This game was effectively completed as a content package by 2019 at the latest, with only maintenance patches arriving afterward. It launched as a finished puzzle game and has been treated as such for several years.

Are you a Genius Greedy Mouse?
You are a mouse, a very, very hungry mouse, living in a large underground world. Luckily, your world is filled with the delightful cheeses that you so desire. If only you could just reach out and eat to your hearts content. Unfortunately, the life of a mouse is not quite so simple. The cheese is not easy to obtain and many traps and puzzles will hamper your endeavours. Using all your cunning mouse skills, like all crafty mice can, you must find your way to the cleverly located cheeses. Can you eat all the cheeses ‘Greedy Mouse’? The game plays through a variety of themed levels, encompassing both ingenious puzzles, and amusing diversions. Each level is played a move at a time, giving the player time to plan ahead and oversee the result, step by step. Play as fast or as careful as suits.
