Geometry Arena 2 exited Early Access and launched as a full 1.0 release on January 16, 2026. The launch post from developer 011 Games described the 1.0 release as completing the major planned features, but also stated that further improvements and "experimental ideas" remain in consideration, including possible new weapons, bodies, or upgrades. Since launch, the developer has remained very active: multiple performance and feature patches shipped in January and February 2026, followed by a substantial v1.1.0 update on April 22, 2026 that added a new pet general skill category and numerous new pet general skills. The developer continues to respond to community feedback via Steam and Discord. No specific future content has been formally announced, but the pattern of post-launch updates — including a named major content update just two months ago — shows sustained, ongoing development work well beyond basic maintenance.
