Evaluation
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is an HD remaster of the classic 2010 Nintendo DS puzzle-adventure game, developed and published by Capcom. It launched on June 29, 2023, and is explicitly marketed as "the ultimate version" of the game — an HD remaster with upgraded visuals, rearranged music, and a new art/music gallery. The store description and short description both describe this as a complete, definitive package rather than a game with ongoing content plans.
Two DLC items were released: a bonus content pack (launch wallpapers and music tracks for pre-order buyers, released June 30, 2023) and the Original Soundtrack 2023 (released September 13, 2023). Both are now available, and no additional DLC has been announced or listed on the store. Developer news posts are limited to a pre-order announcement and a launch post — neither hints at future updates or additional content.
As a remaster of a finished game with no post-launch update cadence, no announced future content, and all listed DLC already released, the game launched as a complete product. The last content item (the soundtrack) shipped on September 13, 2023, and there has been no developer communication suggesting anything further is planned.
Evidence
Launch post confirms the remaster is available now, listing its features: HD graphics, rearranged music with one new track, and a new art/BGM collection. No roadmap or future content teased.
Store description markets Ghost Trick as 'the ultimate version' of the classic — an HD remaster with upgraded visuals, new music arrangements, and a new gallery. No mention of future content or updates.
